Station - Instructions for candidate
You are an intern in the Emergency Department of a Perth metropolitan hospital.
Jun Zhang, a 52-year-old landscaper, presented 30 minutes ago after waking this morning with acute onset severe pain in his left knee. The triage nurse is handing him over to you.
Your tasks are to:
1Take a focused history.
2Perform a focused examination.
3Request any relevant investigations and interpret the results provided.
4Summarise your findings to the examiner with your most likely diagnosis and differential diagnoses.
5Outline your initial management plan to the examiner.
