Station - Instructions for candidate
You are a final-year medical student on placement in a general practice in Rockingham. The GP has asked you to see the next patient and report back.
Ella Walsh, 15, is here with a parent, who has agreed to wait outside so that you can talk with Ella on her own.
Your tasks are to:
- Take a focused history from the young person.
- Explain your provisional diagnosis and your initial management plan to the young person.
- You do NOT need to examine the patient; the examiner will give you the bedside findings if you ask for them.
This is a 10-minute station, with 2 minutes of reading time.
