Station - Instructions for candidate
You are a junior doctor working in a general practice in Perth.
Nyibol Akol, a 24-year-old dental assistant, has booked a standard appointment. The booking note says 'wants to start contraception'. She is otherwise well and is not a regular patient of the practice.
Your tasks are to:
- Take a focused history.
- Counsel her on the contraceptive options that are suitable for her.
- You do NOT need to examine the patient.
- You are not required to write a prescription or perform any procedure in this station.
This is a 10-minute station, with 2 minutes of reading time.
